A Mac fractal creator, editor and rendering app.I will upload code and binaries later. Since I'm using Mac OS X Leopard on Intel, 10.5 and x86 is a requirement. I will compile as Universal Binary. Images are generated using a scripting language. NextFractal provides tools for exploring Fractals, browsing images, creating time-based and event-based animations, and exporting images and animations. See video for a short demonstration. NextFractal is free software, available for Mac, Windows and Linux. Download the latest release on GitHub. Fractal Screensavers. Fractals are figures based on mathematical formulas and value sets that result in a shape that is made of parts similar to the whole in some way. The object appears to repeat itself when it is magnified, a type of animation that lends itself particularly well to screensavers. 'Windows' and 'Mac' are registered. Some fractals were found by chance in 2001 when functions used for artificial intelligence were plotted as fractals. These new fractals were called JP Random Sets. The brilliant environment Lazarus allowed Double Fractal to be ported from Delphi and now Double Fractal can be run on Windows, Linux and MAC.
The white arms of a simple analogue clock show the current time against a black background in this Fractal Clock screensaver for Mac OS X. As time passes, fractals grow out of these arms, continuously weaving fresh elaborate patterns on your screen.
This download will probably not be usable on computers running Microsoft Windows.

- Double-click the file you downloaded above, then double-click the 'FractalClock.saver' file that appears in a new window to begin the installation process.
- Click 'Install' to proceed. 'FractalClock' should now appear among your other screensavers in the 'Screen Savers' panel.

Using Catalina 10.15.6 currently.
FANTASTIC screensaver! Being an engineer (which makes me somewhat of a mathematician) the mathematics of the fractals and angles are really intriguing and beautiful to look at.

Great screensaver. Beautiful and functional.
Also, totally broken in Catalina.
(Speeds ahead past the current time and sometimes only takes up 1/4 of the screen, at least in some cases when multiple monitors are being used.)

I love this screen saver. It's mesmerizing, I get lost watching it twist and turn and as I watch it I can know exactly how much time I'm wasting.
I always liked this beautiful screensaver, and ran it all the time when I had a mini hooked up to my tv. But now I have an appletv, and there is no ap version. I’d pay for that.
Looks awesome, but needs Windows support :)
This is the one for me. It's relaxing and I get insights of how life is created in the first place. I hope you further develop this i.e. put 2 + clocks to create chaos .. could get faces and all through this natural matrix. I already see insect legs to snowflakes. Thanks very much JK
